Inauguration Ceremony of Diploma in Information Management and Technology

The inauguration ceremony of Diploma in Information Management and Technology offered by the Department of Library and Information Science was held on the 26th of May 2018 at the Board Room of Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Kelaniya. This ceremony was held with the objective of introducing the course units and the academic staff to newly enrolled students.

Senior Lecturer Dr. Ravi Dissanayake of Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies delivered the keynote speech. The event was graced by Senior Lecturer Ven. Legumdeniye Piyarathana Thero, Head of Department of Library and Information Science, Senior Lecturer Dr. Namali Suraweera, Coordinator of Diploma in Information Management and Technology, Academic Staff of the Department of Library and Information Science and the students who have completed the Diploma in Information Management and Technology.
